what Is this cuteness, and why do we find babies of even the most terrifying or horrifying animals to be cute???

what indues our positive response and love for these tiny lovely animals
when we would never even dream of having any of these as pets as adults , for example, a piglet is so cute, that girls squeal when seeing them , we want to hold and cuddle them , but can most of us say the same thing about adults pigs, or hippos , most people will just be grossed out by it, well the people in the part of the world I live in will.

then there are other animals who are terrifying as adults, like the big cats The Tiger or lions their cubs are as cute as kittens,
so the question I asked myself today was, why
what are the psychological reasons we humans who were a species of hunters and gatherers develop something like this response to the animals which would be our easiest prey , ?

so at first, i was just curious about this topic, so i did some research, and then after i read enough and understood the reason why, I moved on . then today i was going through my notes and I found this question in one of them. " why do we find baby animals to be so cute?" I was like I should probably delete it as i already know the answer. but then the talkative person in me who wants to tell someone why are baby animals so cute. said let's write it on our blog,

yeah, I know that this blog probably doesn't even have 1 person reading it but whatever maybe it will be probably discovered by someone and then that person and I can share these fascinating human evolution and psychological reason and be happy that now we both know.

Anyway, after reading a lot there is something I can say,

firstly the reason we find baby animals to be cute is connected to be why do we find human babies to be cute?.

the answer to this is simple,

Our brains make us enjoy looking at cute things by rewarding us with dopamine, a chemical that makes us feel intensely happy and our Brain wants to protect them and just save them from this cruel world

we evolved that way to keep children safe and let them grow and become functional adults. as we are social creatures, not only our parents but even other relatives help look after our young, yes the job is mainly for parents but others do contribute, our grandparents our uncles our aunts. so when in a tribe thousands of years ago, a kid was born it was looked after by every member who could, and to reinforce this behavior some traits were evolved in us

we find big eyes and chubby cheeks to be cute, and we find big heads with small bodies to be cute and these features on anything induce a positive response, in our brains, anything we see with this feature we want to hold it, we want to cuddle it and we want to not let that child or animal or even soft toy be harmed in any way and this behavior was especially beneficial for humans, as our young are very depended on adults for basically everything for a long time,

As all these traits big eyes, big head, small nose, and chubbiness, are also present in baby animals, these traits in them induce a similar response in our brains as it does when we see a baby(human)

And that was why we find babies of other animals so adorable

I know that these are not the only reasons but to a casual know-it-all, like meπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ this was enough so I did not dig deeper,

I am sure there are other factors to it but this is all I know and that's all I can share,

thank you

Poisoning with muscarine: Symptoms:   miosis,  blurred vision,  increased salivation,  excessive sweating,  lacrimation,  bronchial secretions,  bronchoconstriction,  bradycardia,  abdominal cramping,  increased gastric acid secretion,  diarrhea and polyuria (it might cause also tremor, convulsions and hypothermia). Miosis A s we all are well aware that muscarine is a acetylcholine agonist which in turn stimulates the cholinergic receptors which are an integral part of Parasympathetic post synaptic receptors and sympathetic sweat receptors all are triggered by acetyl choline agonist muscarine leading to all the above mentioned symptoms and so to treat it we use a Acetylcholine Antagonist which block the channels that are being stimulated leading to the blockage of all the response of the choline related reactions. Treatment:  The dru...
